Privacy policy
1. Who we are
The data controller is Octopus. The legal entity's name and registration number will be added once it is registered. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
When you fill in the demo request form we store your name, company, phone, email, customer-count band, current software, comment, your consent, the page address, your browser description (user agent) and an encrypted hash of your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself.
3. Why we use it
We use the data only to arrange the demo and get in touch with you, and to protect the form against spam (the hash helps us limit the number of requests).
4. Where it is stored
Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
5. How long we keep it
We keep form data for up to 24 months and then delete it. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
6. Google Analytics
If you agree, the site uses Google Analytics 4. It collects statistics: which pages you view, on what device and browser, roughly which country you visit from, and which buttons you click (for example, requesting a demo). For this it stores cookies (_ga) in your browser. Google Analytics loads only after you accept in the banner; before that, or if you decline, Google's script is not loaded and no cookies are set. You can withdraw consent at any time: open “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page and choose “Decline” — analytics is switched off and Google's cookies are deleted. Your choice is remembered in your browser for 12 months. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Google processes this data on our instructions as a processor; processing may also take place outside Georgia and Europe. We do not use the data for advertising.
7. Who receives it
We do not sell data. It is processed by service providers (hosting, database, email, Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection) that act only on our instructions.
8. Your rights
Under the Georgian Law on Personal Data Protection you have the right to request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and withdrawal of consent, and to complain to the Personal Data Protection Service.
9. Contact
To exercise your rights, write to [email protected].
